We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Emergency Housing Advocate (Full Time/Non-Exempt)

The Emergency Housing Advocate provides servicer user-centered advocacy related to obtaining emergency housing and supporting survivors of domestic abuse who are temporarily housed in our shelter and local hotels. They will serve as a liaison between hotel staff, Steps to End Domestic Violence staff, and service users, and will collaborate with, provide outreach for, and build relationships between these parties. They will complete intakes and room turnovers, as well as respond to other requests. The Emergency Housing Advocate will assist in providing an environment that is safe, clean, empowering, and supportive for residents and their children. The Emergency Housing Advocate is a member of the Direct Services Team and reports to the Shelter Coordinator.

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position. It is paid $22.50/hour and is eligible for a generous benefits package, which includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 403b plan, 24 paid days off, and 12 paid holidays.
